BAFFLED, I barely eat for 2 days, walk over 2 miles easy, and I still gain weight. I'm starting to consider letting my anorexia take control because the diets are not working, the doctors advise isn't working. I'm just TRYING to get to a healthy weight and NOTHING is working.
178.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 23.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.6 lb a week

Try to eat to heal. Get enough proteins every day. If you starve you are risking lowering your metabolism. It is a long process to heal. Sounds like you started.

Don't let that scale number determine your success, if it always dropped this would be too easy! It fluctuates for any number of reasons. Focus on your hard work and achievements and be proud of those.

Hang in there. Don’t give up on yourself. Yes it doesn’t make sense sometimes and is very frustrating but you already know how doing the wrong things will turn out. Stay patient and don’t let that scale number take away from your focus and determination.

Hang in there! It takes a while for your body's metabolic process to shift into "loss mode," sometimes up to 3 weeks of dieting before you'll get the appropriate shift in leptin!! Don't get discouraged!

This is why I only weigh in every two weeks. Water weighs a ton. I was a dialysis patient for 8 years and if I had a "bit" of water on, I could weigh 15 pounds more than what I weighed the day before. My advice is to absolutely NOT step on the scale everyday. Just do whatever diet you chose to do for a couple of weeks and then weigh in. Otherwise, prepare to be disappointed from one day to the next. Weight doesn't come flying off because you didn't eat, or didn't eat much, for a couple of days. Hang in there. It will get better.

You need to nourish your body for it to let go of the fat. Too low calorie can starve your body. It take about 1200 just to run your organs so try a calorie calculator. You need a certain amount of calories according to how much you already weigh. Believe it or not you need nutrition to lose weight. I used the Beachbody portion control containers and lost 40 lbs in 9 months and that's with a few stalls. I found out I wasn't eating enough nutrient dense foods or calories. Just want to see you enjoy your life. Anorexia kills your body, mind and soul and it's just not worth it to be skinny. And it eats your muscles for food so you just end up being skinny fat. Balanced nutrition is way more sustainable. Prayers!

Ok how about u try this. Go buy Metamucil sugar free orange. Mix 2 spoons three times a day! Drink it quick tho or it gets thick. I lost on it and so did my friend. I lost 12 in a month and she lost 22 in like 2 months She started before me. This was recommended by her dr. We are Still using it. Also def get more protein type of foods like they said dont starve yourself your body will panic and not let go of the fat because it will think it wont get anymore soon.

Two days is not enough. How much are you eating? Normally my weight is going to be up "3-5 days of the week". I just don't let that discouraged me

I went to look at your food log to see what kind of diet you are doing and did not see anything logged. I hope you have a plan and weigh your food and log it somewhere. Success comes from making a plan and sticking to it. Not eating is not going to help long term. no matter what plan you chose, get yourself a food scale and keep track. in the long run it will help you attain your goal.

@baskington is so right about logging. It was an eye opener for me! I thought I was doing so well and not getting anywhere. Logging EVERYTHING I had a rude awakening! No more guess work for me!!!

The first step that worked for me was logging everything I eat carefully.

I agree on logging and I’m the master of not logging and then saying “I barely ate” but once I logged it was an extra 10000 kcals of Halloween miniatures in a 7 day period holding me back. Gotta be honest with yourself.

Can u run vs. walk?

I should clarify the barely eat for 2 days, was because I was out camping with friends and was very picky eating. (I was at a Ren Fair for a wedding for 4 days straight and 2 days I just didn't feel hungry.) @Srossca I don't run sadly because of my connective tissue disorder which thanks to old injuries allows my hips to dislocate even just walking around, so running could cause severe damage upon impact if my hip or knees shift out of place mid-stride.
