Take this as you will, but I dont work out. I wear a fitbit and it tracks everything I do, but I never work out. Sometimes I will walk more than normal, but anyway, Dont up your calories, the RDI is based on what you should eat and then your working out burns those. I would stick with what you are doing.

Antonia, you're so smart to take charge of your health at your age! Back up a bit. Working out is great, but the food has to come the first. Notice that I said "the food," not "the calories." Your body needs proper nutrition to do anything, and exercise alone (with or without the random "hit" of celery -- LOL!) will not take off the weight. You were successful last year doing keto. While you need to have a calorie "deficit" to lose weight, an *exact* "calorie count" is not key. Research keto as thoroughly as you can. DietDoctor.com is great for this. The "keto calculator" at Ruledme.com will provide your daily caloric need and macronutrients. Then, sit down and PLAN *tomorrow's* meals in the FS Food and COMMIT to executing your plan.

Miraculum- So after working out I wasn’t hungry. So in the past when I would work out I would reward myself for working out with eating something that wasn’t healthy eating. I just really wanted nachos from this fast food place that’s open 24 hours and trust me those nachos are like 2500 calories because everything is made from scratch. Plus the chips are like deep fried in fat pretty much. I ate the celery because it some how made me forget about wanting nachos. Plus I honestly hate food preparation so I do basics but really tasty salads.

I keep calories around 1000, sometimes less and lose weight. I'll track the exercise but don't really worry about it for weight loss. I loss about 20 pounds before I started exercising (lots of walking) and didn't lose weight faster once I started walking, but really felt better and was less likely to eat bad things after making the effort to walk for 2 hours or so. Good for you for not getting the nachos! I will sometimes have something I want, but watch the portion. There's a place I'll go get a taco after my doctor appointment. I log it in, and one taco isn't all that bad. Before I started losing weight I would get either 2 or 3 tacos.

Keep track of your weekly totals. Calories burned doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the amount that’s “true”, as the percentages and amounts can differ greatly depending on internal/external bodily function & environment. So if your weekly totals of whatever they may be are causing you to reach your desired goals, stick with them, if not, adjust and track as necessary higher or lower etc. until you find the balance that works for you
