Save me from the Halloween candy. We took the kids trick-or-treating tonight and ugh...I swear the chocolate is calling me! I'm resisting, but dang its so hard!!!!

Went to the doctor today and he was flabbergasted by my lab work! My cholesterol dropped from 237 to 187. He said he doesn't normally see that kind of drop in numbers without medication. Woohoo! I'm thrilled to see results besides the weight coming off.
I talked to him about my diet and he said to keep doing what I'm doing. I go back in December for my physical and want to be down at least another 10 pounds by then! That is my goal!

Ok - is it just me or is anyone else feeling a little lost with the new look of the site? I was pretty new to Fatsecret and finding my way round the site and now ugh. I liked being able to see journal comments from people specifically on Atkins. Just venting....
Hope everyone is having a good day. I went to the grocery store today and got ingredients to try out the pumpkin recipe and the ricotta/vanilla/splenda recipe as well as ingredients for some of my favorite Atkins meals.
