Does sleep affect your weight loss?
My grandson (3almost 4) and granddaughter (18 mo) (they are cousins) have digestive issues and one can have a sensitivity or allergy to gluten and not have celiac, which is an autoimmune reaction to gluten. Trust you reaction and not the GI's--they are all over the place and some kids have EE which causes inflamtion of the esphogus due to an allergy of some sort, which might be gluten. My daughter has gone around in circles for the last 3+ years and there are a lot of boards out there about these issues. Good luck and if gluten free works do it--there is absolutely no harm in being gluten free and many doctors feel many more people should be.

Celiac Disease & Siblings
re celiac- yes it's possible if your sibling has celiac that you could and it is recommended that you get an annual blood testing to see if there are antibodies which could be an indication. you can also have a series of blood test one which looks for a particular defective gene. if you don't have the defective gene you can't acquire celiac but having the gene doesn't mean that you have it thus the annual screening.
