Trouble eating enough calories
I'm 46 female, smoker, stay at home, semi active,
I went from one huge meal to 3 meals since starting this "better way of life". I'm not a snacker I love veggies and chicken and fruit so eating healthier was never a problem. My recommended calorie intake is 1400 I am having trouble reaching that, I try to eat a bowl of oatmeal in the morning (1cup) with fiber one yogurt mixed in for flavor and fiber, a glass of grapefruit juice and a cup of coffee but half way through I feel very full and have a gagging feeling, I then do a 15 minute workout either walking stairstepping or an arobic workout, I have a bottle of water and try to eat a lunch when I'm not hungry I manage to get an apple in, and maybe some tuna and crackers, again the gagging feeling a bottle of water and another 15 minute workout then dinner usually a chicken breast with mild salsa, spinach with mushrooms, green tree, and brown rice, but have trouble finishing it, then I try to get an evening walk in and playtime with the dogs.
I cannot do more meals a day, I've tried it makes me sick.
I am averaging 800 calories a day and burning 250-350 calories. But I think I need to get more calories

set a goal treat yourself
I started out with a goal of losing five lbs. when I did, I rewarded myself with a new hairstyle and color,(which made me feel great) when I reach the ten lb. (only 3 more lbs to go) I am going to buy me an outfit one size too small and bust my but to fit into it. when I reach my ultimate goal of 30lbs, hubby is giving me a day at a spa
rewarding myself just seems to give me more motivation to keep going
