I started out with a goal of losing five lbs. when I did, I rewarded myself with a new hairstyle and color,(which made me feel great) when I reach the ten lb. (only 3 more lbs to go) I am going to buy me an outfit one size too small and bust my but to fit into it. when I reach my ultimate goal of 30lbs, hubby is giving me a day at a spa rewarding myself just seems to give me more motivation to keep going

Yes, it's great to reward yourself with things other than food. Every 20 pounds means 2 new pairs of jeans and a purse I love shopping! I completely agree with you...I was wondering how will I reward myself.I will reward myself once I break my stall.I am stalled for more than 3weeks now.Probably I will buy a new outfit.

Frankly urinsane, I'm not sure that a day at the spa is enough of a reward for reaching one's *ultimate* goal. Paris or Amsterdam would seem more appropriate. Maybe you can get him to reconsider. "I will work in my own way, according to the light that is in me." - Lydia Maria Child

When I reached my goal I treated myself with a new big tattoo of a phoenix on my back to represent the "new" me. I wish I could have gone on a trip instead! lol

Sometimes I like to give myself something for sticking with my diet for so many days straight...because when you don't loose weight but you are trying sometimes you need a little reward.
