Battling depression
Me too! To all of the above that you described, battling despression, hard to get started, need support, and all that.
Losing weight is even 10000000 times harder with depression I think because the depression makes you focused on the negative side so something that is already really hard to do (i.e. losing weight) becomes next to impossible and requires superhuman willpower and strength. At least that's how I've experienced it.
Don't forget you are not alone in this battle (the depression AND the weight loss, as proven by the responses to your post)! I think that's one of the great things about this site, which is why I'm excited at having joined and everyone seems so nice and positive about it all that I'm hoping it helps me (as I just joined too).

Even if it is depressing stuff.
By the way - reading your post and the other posts here made me feel better about being in my situation as I am in the same boat but I don't know anyone in my personal life who is. So thank you everyone
