Hi I'm a mum in NZ masquerading as a student, pretending not to be a shonky housekeeper while trying to convince my husband I'm turning 28 not 36.
I have always been the chubby one, in my mid 30's and still waiting for that puppy fat to go is getting a bit tired. The only time I have had real long term success with my weight was in my early 20's living in London, to be fair my husband said living with a hungry chain smoking woman for years was not a way to gauge success, but he is naturally lean and 6ft + so our children better of inherited those genes and not my black humor and inability to reach high spaces. I quit smoking about 8 years ago when we decided to start a family and managed to gain all the recommended weight for my entire antenatal class then added more weight post pregnancy, I thought I was "chubby" then far out I was lean, retrospect what a thing. So I am doing the crawl back down the numbers to a respectable 85 kg, which in my teens and 20's would of seemed enormous but now seems healthy and achievable. I screw up lots and am highly opinionated, off to slay dragons. #winningwithsmallvictories

Having no success for months even when working with a nutritionist... Help please :(
Good luck on your journey Xilu82, I think Draglist is just trying to sum up what we are all trying to share with you and thats what works for us. If you are having continious imput from a nutririonist and it's not working, two questions I would ask are is your partner loosing weight following your nutrition plan and question 2, why is restrictive calories not working for you? Is there something else going on in the back ground, hopefully your natropath appointment will help in a area your current lifestyle isn't. BUT YOU HAVE LOST 22LBS SINCE FEBUARY, NOT GAINED OR STAGNETED BUT LOSSED, CONGRATULATIONS!!
I don't know about you but I didn't get fat in a day xx

Hi Xilu82, I think 10kgs in 6 months is reasonable, try not to get discurraged. Drink water, lots of water. Paleo eating is great but if you cant stick to it dont bother or its just an expensive way to stay generous. If you have Dr etc looking at your diet and at a loss perhaps its time to take a holistic approach, go see a Natropath and see what they have to say. Drink water and everytime you want to cry or eat or both flick me a email, good luck xx
