Thank you for this thread. I to am lonely. my husband is a wonderful man but does not understand the word healthy living. The only vegetables he eats are the ones i sneak into dinner dishes. His idea of cooking is opening a box or bag dinner and heating it up. It is very frustrating but I am learning to just try and cook all the meals I make enough that if he wants some he can have some if not I have leftovers for my lunches. If he does cook or really wants something not so healthy I make sure there are salad items in the house so I can have a big salad and a little of the not so healthy. Thank you all again.
