Second day of being snowed in in Atlanta. I'm glad I went shopping as soon as I heard about the storm coming. There are a lot of people out searching for open stores right now.
Went a little overboard on sodium intake today, but I'm drinking tons of water, so hopefully I can flush it out of my system quickly. I made
Spicy Thai Chicken with Basil
this evening and it was really good. I try to make at least one new recipe per week and if we really like it, I add it to the normal line-up. This one is definitely a keeper. I actually got it out of the Cook This, Not That Easy & Awesome 350-Calorie Meals. They have some really good recipes in this book and I highly recommend it if you like trying new recipes!

I'm in the green! Yay! I'm happy that my hard work this week paid off and it's such a motivating start to my year! I have faith that good things will happen this year in terms of my health, career, and personal life. I am speaking it into existence and asking God for my heart's desires!
So, I went shopping earlier this week for some slacks to wear and was pleasantly surprised to find that I'm fitting into a SIZE 10 now!!! I have not worn a size 10 in my adult life and words can't explain how happy, excited, and accomplished I felt in that moment.

Ran a mile today for the Next Mile challenge! I haven't ran outside in a couple of months and boy was it cold outside! I need to dress a little warmer tomorrow.

Excited that my sister joined fs! Welcome lonilew!
I really like planning my meals out. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner! I know what snacks I have allotted myself for the day and I space them out accordingly so I'm never super hungry. Anyway, took the day off after working out everyday this week...picking it up again tomorrow.
SN: Changed my starting weight to reflect my total weight loss since starting my journey (actually started a few weeks before I joined fatsecret).
