So I haven't written in a long time... It has been a real struggle with my weight over the past few years. I just keep getting bigger and bigger. And the few times I tried to lose some weight, the scale just wouldn't budge and I would get frustrated. I have been leading a keto lifestyle for a few years and I mostly stay on track food wise,but I haven't been keeping up with my macros (110-120P, 80F, 20C). Which means I have just been eating a lot of cheese. So instead of losing weight I've been around 160ish for a bit and last month I fell off he Keto wagon and was eating carbs. I decided that on Aug 1 I would try again to see if i could lose some of this weight. I have been following my macros and stopped drinking alcohol and tried to be semi-active. Well I lost 18 lbs in August :) I'm so happy and am starting to feel better mentally and physically. I've struggled with my weight my whole life and have been able to lose weight quickly in the past, but as I've gotten older it has become a lot more difficult. So to such a big loss this month is really awesome. For the future I"m going to set a goal of 10 lbs a month to keep it realistic. After all slow and steady wins the race. I also may start adding more healthy carbs (like fresh fruit) in as I get closer to my goal weight. Thank you for reading, I just had to share my success. And anyone who doesn't know what Keto is should look it up...it is a great lifestyle with a variety of foods (cheese, avocados, meats, seafood, veggies). Just little to no carbs...I eat no grains or sugars, but I'm okay with that as long as I get to keep my cheese (in moderation of course) :)
