I have been conscious of my body & my weight all my life. I remember when I was a small child, maybe 10 years old, and I was stuffing my face at dinner. My great Aunt looked at me and told me I should watch what I was eating or else I'd be fat like my mom & dad. I was appalled, I was still a kid, and skinny.
I was skinny until highschool. Even then, I was not fat, just not a stick. I started gaining curves but I looked good, so I was not worried. By the time I graduated high school, I noticed that clothes started to not fit as well. I was in a size 15/17. I considered myself fat. I am not sure of my weight, but it was probably in the 160 area.
By the time I was 21, I was 195 lbs & found out I was pregnant. By the birth of my son, I was 270 lbs. On January 2008, I started my lifestyle change and I was 235 lbs.
I have struggled a lot in the last 3 years. I got down to 200 lbs by May 2008, but I slowly gained it all back here and there and weighed in at 237.1 lbs on February 20, 2011.
My goal is 140 lbs. I would like to be at this weight by January 2012.
I will not probably post many journals on FatSecret, but I am an avid Fb'er and blogger.
I truly believe there is a skinee gurl smiling on the inside of me!
