I'm 45 and aging. I was a slim person just a year ago and now find myself at an uncomfortable 170! Okay, so what I really want is to be toned up, fit my clothes better, and not run out of breath from easy tasks as well as have a bit more energy than I do. I'm a housekeeper, and I work hard. I have a puppy and she works me hard just keeping her active! I want to stay active and I want to feel good. Staying fit and eating well, and keeping the weight off isn't just about looking good or living a long life, because I dont care to live a long life, as much as I wish to live life well, w/o as much pain as possible, feeling good while living my life.

trying to stay motivated to eat right, exercise and be healthy physically, spiritually and mentally.
I'm not following any diet really, just trying to keep it healthy with the budget I am on. I cant afford the best of foods, or a gym. I eat as healthy as I can, I try to not over indulge when people bring foods I don't usually eat around me, I have depression, and so I try to stay motivated to exercise. Sometimes I just don't want to move. I'm on a 1800 calorie diet, that's easy to eat, usually I eat less, but what I can afford is usually full of carbohydrates and fat, more than proteins. My dad keeps cookies in the house daily, and all kinds of other junk. I get so hungry, and the food is so easy to grab it gets hard to turn a blind eye to it. but I cant afford to get sick, so I have to keep my self healthy by eating right, and exercising and keeping my weight down to a healthy weight. I'm considered over weight right now, so I am trying to get it back down to 140. so that what i am doing here, me in a nut shell...
