GOOD MORNING,
It is Tuesday and I have been home now for a week. Wishing my energy would return. I have not been slacking off, I know there is more I can do, I need a nap almost everyday. Can I be suffering withdrawal from artifical sugar???? And I have returned to my lifestyle way of eating from the old habits that took over while I was traveling. I know it will get better, we always want the change to come quickly. Must remember one hour, one day at a time.
On a lighter note, I have been spring cleaning and have put my "collectible" clothing on EBay. I used to wear lots of Quacker Factory clothing, fun, whimsical, and fit for a larger body. Most of them are toooooo big for me know and I will NOT return to that size so off they go to new homes. It does feel freeing to send them away and leaves room in my closet for the clothes I can wear now and the next size down.
I also have put some things I can no longer use on the auctions. My hands will no longer let me hand quilt and I have a great frame and hoops. I have held on to them for a while, hoping my hands would get better. Actually, they are better, have tried the hand work, and that work makes them hurt and sore. No need to walk down that path.
Other things are going directly to Goodwill. I am always curious how a person collects things. While going through my closets, I discovered that I had 10 spring jackets, now who needs that many. All are in great shape and will help several people along the way.
Now, I am a collector of fabric, even that is getting a bit overwhelming. Maybe I should think about sharing some of it also. Listing all this is making me tired, I so want to be done Spring cleaning. We are taking a road trip to day, deer meat to a processer and a stop at a quilt store and of course lunch. A hugh salad sounds great right now.
Need to get back to cleaning. This is my third day without diet soda, I really miss it. My joints will feel lots better without the artifical sweetner. Keep telling myself that, over and over and over.
Hope you all have a great day, Nancy

SUGAR COOKIES!!!! Why oh why. I almost through them away, that would men my Grandchildren would not have anymore, frankly, they could care less. I did fit a workout in today. Children have been home from school, all of them for a snow day, then one because of sick. I got out today and ran some errands, the weather has been clearing up and we may have spring soon.
I so need to cut back on the carbs, I feel sluggish and have heartburn. I will get on this soon. Tomorrow if possible.

I see that 3 of my buddies have hung in there since. I last posted. Congratulations to all of you! I have been still trying and have in fact added regular exercise to my plan. And now I have an IPad, posting while taking breaks, will be tons easier for me. My schedule this last bunch of months has been traveling to see our children and grandchildren. Often staying while our daughters travel for work. Love, love doing that. Hoping and hoping to get back on a full program of healthy eating along with healthy exercise. Have kept my eating closer to control by spending lots of time sewing. Cannot eat in the sewing room, no messy fingers or table tops allowed. Hope to catch up with all of you soon. Take care, Nancy

I had a great weight loss today. I have had a tough time, gained some pounds, and now I am back on plan. Have not been checking in, life has been getting in the way. Last week, I had a gain and decided I was done gaining, after my meeting, went directly to the fitness center and signed up. Today in our meeting I asked how often other members exercise. One of our members is a PE teacher, she and another very fit member helped me realise I need not exercise everyday, especially in the begining. I was feeling guilty for not trying every day to get to the gym. So, I am going to set up a loose schedule to get to the gym 4 or 5 times a week. I can do it. Hope everyone has a joyous Christmas. Take care,
