Are you hungry after you work out?
your body is a machine that needs energy ... really there is not problem with eating after your work out .. in fact its a must!!! as above really protein with a few carbs and even pop a vitamin pill or something after ..

again what kind of work out are you doing .. weights? cardio? etc etc
