Hi, Kcal is 1000 calories
RDI is recommended daily intake to maintain weight
so for weight loss reduce below RDI or increase to gain
It's not recommended to go under 1200 calories per day though
There is also a pie chart for percentage of fat/carbs/protein and at the end of the day should try to hit 1/3 in each section, of course only the good fats found in eggs, fish, etc vs oils, butter etc

progress report
I've lost 33, 45 to go...6 more pounds to 1/2 way point.
Missing some foods I've given up, but not too bad...need to take time to get some new recipies, food starting to get boring. Also, been tied up at work and with ill brother, need to get back to exercise through the house renovations or plain exercise otherwise diet or not will get hung up and stop losing again...just got off a two week hiatus where weight slide stopped, back to losing the last few days again, yah! But have had to be very strict to get it moving again, less variety. At least hadn't gained, right?
