I made the decision tonight to join a gym. I'm going in on Monday to sign up for my free first week. What I love about the place, it's open 24/7. They give you an access card and you can go in any time. Love it! 4:30 am here I come! :)

So, Chinese food a definate no no. It took me out of ketosis and I gained weight. I think it's a bit early (only 5 days of exercise in a row) for the exercise to start building muscle. In any case, I'm disappointed, but with new motivation. I can do this!

Yikes! We went out to eat at our local Chinese restaurant. I tried to eat things that looked to be on plan. I plan on testing myself tomorrow morning with a ketone strip. If I'm still in ketosis, then I know Chinese can be an option when eating out. If not... well, I'll need to either persuade them to go elsewhere or just drink while I'm there.
On a positive note, I just got done exercising.

Argggg! I overslept and my exercise didn't get in this morning. I need to get it in this evening, which will be difficult. My evenings are busy with family obligations and I always seem to forget to exercise. I will do my best. Maybe I'll mention to my daughter this morning.... she's always happy to remind me about stuff ;)
I put a pot roast on for this evening's meal. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I need to learn to overcook every night... making lots of extra meat. This morning was a challenge trying to find something to put in my lunch. Ended up grabing a couple cans of tuna. If I eat tuna every day, I will get sick of it....
