Hello my name is Madeline.
I am 54 yr old mother and grandmother age 32 and 5 years old.
I have been over weight all my life like 30 pounds but after I gave birth, I went sky high. I try all kinds of diets, lost weight and gained it back. I started to change the way that I eat around August 2009. I started at 297 and would lose nothing and then the begining of October, I lost nine pounds, and now I weigh 288 pounds.
I am looking to get to a reasonable goal of 150 to 160, don't want to be skinny just healthy. I want to be able to do things and run around with my grandson. I had a problem with sweets, fry foods, breads, dairy. I am getting so used to eating healthier, we are teaching my grandson how to eat the right way. He has a few pounds on him but he's only 5 years old and he can lose it by being active and eating right. My son weighs 428 pounds and is also turning his life around for the better. WE didn't gain it in one day, so it will take time to lose it. Rome was not built in a day. Life is short, and we have to live it and do the right things for our body, we only have one. I am looking forward to a better life.
