Good solid healthy day, even if i ate weird. i took the day off so that i could take my kids to the pool but the teenager had such a fit about being seen with her mother, that i skipped the outing instead i went to the gym and sweated a bunch. to hot to cook, dinner will be a salad, although my family is dispersed and I could have an evening of quiet. getting ready for the annual family reunion camping trip. Am not as enthused as usual, it will be hard to diet right, but i will try and persuade husband to let me pack my kind of food, lots of water. the walking trails and the hiking will be good but no real gym for a week.

Oh I want to rant! I tried a new recipe for dinner, Shrimp with green beans and my husband and sons refused to eat it. It was spicy, had chili's in it. I thought it was good, and I can use for leftovers this week. The rant continues, my husband has lost about 15 lbs, just by eating more fruits- so he says. if it was so easy, why hadn't he ( or me) dropped it before. Eating an orange for breakfast is good, but it's not going to be enough to make a significant impact. so while on one hand I know i need to overhaul EVERYTHING and need to make drastic changes, i am also struggling for balance. I keep thinking of some wise person who said " healthy dieting is more than a one day of low calories, it is a daily process." so here is to the next good choice, the next healthy meal, the planned work out.

I am doing well food intake wise, but am just a slug. don't want to do anything, clean, work out, nothing but chill. i have to get out of this rut so i am forcing myself to go to the gym and then grocery store. I just don't want to leave the house. Planning menus and figuring out when I can work out next week- mon, wed, thurs, friday.what was the cheesey quote- fail to plan means planning to fail.
