Apologies for not being around and talking to people, but I'm still not too good. This going out lark doesn't suit me at all, lol. Sometimes it's worth it though. I'm fasting at present - started Tuesday at 6.30 pm and going until Saturday morning - it might make me feel better too. My body can take the energy to heal rather than digest.
No chance of weighing at the moment as we're having a new bathroom fitted - the room has been gutted so far - and my scales keep getting kicked by people and weighing all different weights - some of which I'd like to accept - 68 kilos anyone - and some I wouldn't - 78 kilos, no thank you.

It looks bad, but I'm not feeling very well - nauseous - yesterday I was over a kilo higher - nearer 2 - so I think it may be partly inflammation from going out on Saturday. I did a fair amount (for me) of walking. At least it's coming back down again.

Went to Woburn Abbey today and met up with Alice, Mab Ivy (who was 6 on the 8th June) and Clover who is 2. Had a wonderful day. Had a feta and olive salad for lunch - the kids had a baked potato and cheese between them - it was a potato and a bowl of hot cheese - they loved it.
The portions were very generous. This afternoon I had a seed covered flapjack - and didn't enjoy it! That's a first, it was too sweet and left a sickly taste in my mouth - good old Allen Carr Bad Sugar, Good Sugar. I don't agree with everything he says. I don't think he's qualified to give dietary advice and I know as a prediabetic - and ex diabetic - that if I ate just fruit for breakfast my blood sugar would go sky high and I'd be sleepy all morning. He says that the fibre helps digest the sugar 'differently' but sugar is digested in the mouth whether it's a potato, an apple or a banana.
Stil 'bunged up' today I've had 3 psyllium husk capsules (home made) and 5 tablespoons of chia seeds - plus nuts and salad - and not even a little thought of going.
I'll fast tomorrow and see if that helps.
