Well, the weight is dropping off pretty quickly right now, but I'm sure I'm going to hit a wall sooner or later.
We're on day one seizure free today. Ended up having one yesterday because I got way too stressed. Had some issues with my car and for whatever reason, it always causes me really bad anxiety when I have car issues. It's okay though. Once a week is better than it was.
This week starts my traveling for work. Looking at 100 miles to the place I need to go and 100 back with ten hour days. Not sure how this is going to mess with my healthy eating habits, but I guess we'll find out.

Day four and (hopefully) five of no seizures! YES!
So...I can't stress enough how happy it makes me to not have them. They have been so debilitating and draining for so long that it's such a blessing not to have them.
I was a bit bad yesterday though with the whole eating healthy thing. I knew that I had a Christmas lunch at work (one of the girl's I work with is going out on maternity leave this month) so I already planned accordingly for dinner. But then my boyfriend was late getting home and we had to run around after he got home, so we ended up eating out. Whoops!
But I'm back on the band wagon now. And I can definitely tell the difference between what I've been eating and what I had last night. My stomach was not happy with me at all. It's okay. We'll get it straight.

Day three! Woohoo! And I've dropped six pounds! I'm sure a lot of it is water weight, but still, that makes me so freaking happy! Things are already starting to look up and I don't plan on slowing down. :) Happy Wednesday!

Day two of no seizures! Yay!
My boyfriend and I were talking last night and we both agreed that sugar withdrawal is very real and it's really bad. I can't tell you all how much I was craving something sweet last night. But I resisted! I told him that if we're going to do this, we've got to go cold turkey with it. We can't just have a nibble of something here and a bite of something there.
Our biggest thing is going to be energy drinks/soda. Energy drinks for him, soda for me. I used to drink energy drinks all the time, but they make the seizures worse, so I had to cut them. I'm going with green tea now to get my caffeine fix.
But on the other bright side, I definitely feel better now that I'm eating healthier. I feel much more alert and less sluggish. So go healthy foods!
Fingers crossed that I don't have a seizure this week and I drop at least three pounds. It's looking good so far! :)

Been on another hiatus. When it's not one thing with my health it's another. Not only is this going to document my weight loss and my triumphs and trials, but it's also going to document my rise to being healthy again.
I've been having seizures since late March, early April. They got really really bad for a few months and now they're starting to taper off. I want to actually see my progress at getting better because right now, it feels like they'll never end and I hate that feeling. So, today we're at day one seizure free and at a starting weight of 278 pounds.
Let's do this!
