I can't seem to stay away from the cookies...and I need to move more.

It's been a while since I've logged in...but I need to take control. My diabetes isn't in control, I've lost control of my weight...it's time

Five months already?
Time flys when you are busy...life happens! Still not re-married yet, but it is going to happen...paperwork issues with her divorce documentation, so that will happen soon. My daughter's graduation is in two weeks, so that is the next big life event and I'm hoping work will cooperate. The project I'm on is coming to an end at the time of the grad, so I'm hoping the next project starts up soon after...
On the health front...well, I've been bad with my diabetes so I'm back on my medication and trying to stick to a diet that is livable for everyone. I don't want to have to prepare a separate meal for myself, and I don't expect everyone else to eat bland meals. Different menu choices are a must for the family, so we're experimenting a lot...my blood sugar is a little higher than I would like, so I need to make a few more changes...not too hard when I'm in camp, but when I'm home there's lots of treats and my self control needs some discipline work!
Anyway, my weight is down so that's good...but I'm more concerned about my blood glucose. All will work out in time, just need to keep watching what I put into my mouth...not everyday can be a cheat day ;)
