I am finding it much more difficult to maintain my diet while I'm at home. Too much easily available food in the house. Takes much more will power. I didn't over eat too much, but wasn't on my normal diet either. I also find it harder to record the food when at home...not as simple, since my GF prepares much fancier meals than I am used to having. She is trying to eat healthier too, but lots of sauces & cheese...things I normally don't eat. Oh well, I'll just try harder...I didn't gain, but I am trying to lose weight, not maintain...another week of camp, here we go!!

I can't believe how I've gotten used to this new diet. Watched a TedTalks on a guy that asked the question of: why is eating vegetarian binary? Can we not be vegetarian part time? So he suggested that if we all only eat meat half the time, it would be like half of us are vegetarians...good point, so I've adopted that theory and now have gone four days without having any meat. Vegetables, breads, nuts and protein bars...I've been averaging 1500 calories per day and I'm not hungry? Wonder how long that will last? I don't plan on having meat until I am home from camp...eat some meat with my kids on Friday and Saturday evening. So two days out of fourteen, more than he suggested but I don't seem to be missing the meat. Three cups of coffee, two protein bars, veggies, one apple, some yogurt and nuts along with about 3 liters of water is all I've been eating...I feel pretty good. And the best part...NO COOKIES!!!!
Life is good!
Later.

Thanksgiving was a bad weekend...too much food, too little movement. Over spending and over eating, not a great combo. Back at it...
