I have tried sooooo many times to lose weight. I have only been at my goal weight two times in my life and both were short lived. Last year, I used the Weight Watchers at home program for 3 months and lost 23 pounds, but then I went back to my old ways (doughnuts, brownies, anything that falls under the baked good category). I love WW because I can still eat some of my favorite foods. I have tried other diets, like Atkins, but I cannot make that a permanent lifestyle change. I am ready to make a change. I don't want to spend one more day as an overweight, out of shape lump and I don't want my kids to follow in my footsteps. I want to raise healthy active children, so I need to lead by example.
