I reached my target weight on March 28th , two days before my target date. It has been very trying at times but it has been worth it. I have lost all the lbs that I set out to loose and have had to buy new jeans and shirts. Went from a 35 inch waist to a 30 inch. The only problem I can see is the excess skin on my belly . I still think I could stand to drop off a couple more pounds but will see how things tighten up over the next few months. My blood sugar is for the most part is perfect, and my blood pressure is normal.

one pound to go to reach my goal! I have been doing really well with my Carb and sugar intake. Have increased total daily carbs to 45-50 g. and sugar less than 25 g per day. My blood sugar is perfect at between 95 and 115. Blood pressure is normal and my weight is where it should be for my size and height. There is no reason I should not reach my goal by the end of this month.!!! Yea...For the first time in my life all is good. The main reason for my success is the knowledge that I have from doing research into the Adkins Diet. I don't live and breath the diet, I just apply the philosophy behind it. All I know is that it works for me.

So far so good!! I stepped onto the scale and lost another lb. I have been increasing my carb intake by 25g and I am now taking in 50g/ day. I am still seeing a drop in weight but it is slowing down a bit. I want to level out at 165 lbs. It is very rewarding to have control over something like this. Especially since I have had this Wonderful thing called DIABETES !!! Looks like my goal of 165 lbs by the end of March is going to be a reality. That is when the next goal is set to take place. STOP SMOKING after 40 yrs. This will be a real test of how much control I actually have.
