Adding exercise to your daily routine really does work. Since I moved to DC and started taking the Metro, I'm walking a lot more. In the morning, I walk .3 miles to the bus stop. From the bus, I board the Metro, and my walk from the Metro to the office is about another .3 miles. I work on the 4th floor and take the stairs every opportunity I get. In total, I walk about an extra 2 miles a day versus what I used to do. I also try to keep my pace brisk. While I'm not losing a whole lot of weight each week, I am losing it consistently. I'm getting comments regularly now, on how people can notice. From my highest point until now, I've lost 25 pounds total, and 2.5 inches on my waist. Since I started FatSecret, I think I have lost about 17, but I don't remember my starting weight.
