I just wanted to say that for some reason this time of the year seems to bring up a bit of de-motivation. It's probably things like the days getting shorter and the temperatures dropping. I myself have felt lazy and have been overeating. I started up Insanity, the full program, 3 days ago.

I just wanted to give everyone some motivation if things have been going in the wrong direction. If you've fell off a bit from how well you were doing, jump on the scale, take the hit to the ego if the weight went up and just move on. It's better to realize that we all need a break and then start back up as soon as possible rather than just giving up and gaining it all back.

I've definitely lacked major motivation the past few weeks and the weight has slowly been creeping back up. I was determined to not let that happen and decided to take a break from P90X and just focus on Insanity. That should take me through the end of the year and then I can start P90X again.

My lesson learned so far is that working out before heading into work is a major plus. I feel energized and can focus much earlier in the day than I would normally. Sure it's a pain to get up early and get the motivation to work out but the rewards are worth it.
