I'm a chronic and secret binge eater with some anorexia lurking in my past. I have a deep appreciation of the art of fine cuisine with some self-esteem issues and a distorted body image. I love to cook and I love to eat it too, and as life is ironic nothing makes me feel as good as eating and being thin.

Also, cooking is one of my rare talents, and one of the even fewer aspects of my personality that are acutally met with some appreciation from the outside world.

I have decided to battle my ED and try to maintain a healthy, "normal" weight instead of constantly swinging between the extremes.

So, if you need a anti-binge buddy or just a recipe for a bunch of kill-for biscuits, I'm here. And I hope we'll be doing alright.

Whooo Hoo its SPIKE DAY
I had a "forced" spikeday yesterday (I was invited to dinner, pique-niquing for lunch in company also) and I HATE spikedays. They just throw me right off the right track and I am always uncomfortably full and bloated.

And I gained a kilo. My body has an incredible capacity to gain and lose weight sooooooo fast.

I think that the more random you do it, the better.
It's easier to keep track if it's a fix day though.
And I recommend, to amplify the effect, heavy workout on the same day. This drives you metabolism even more up, up, up.

The Scale, The Inches, & Chocolate Cake
Overripe fruit is perfect for compots (don't add any sugar though, if the fruits are overripe the chances are they are sweet enough; but some vanille or cinammon won't hurt). Also, if we are talking large amounts: home made jam, but, again, no or almost no sugar. This way we can "save" the fruits and have some low-sugar no-additives treat.

Depends how strong-willed you are. The hard thing is not turning your spike day into a spike week, then month...

I personally don't like cheat days. I feel bad about cheating and guilt just leads to me losing motivation.
