Today started of on the right foot. I started my day off with a whole grapefruit each half was covered in a tsp. of sugar. I also ate 1/2 serving of Better Cheddar crackers. I worked out on the treadmill today for a total of 17 minutes running 10 minutes today at 5.5 mph and walking for 7 minutes at 4 mph. I also did two reps of 15 incline situps and 10 incline situps rotating from side to side with a medicine ball. I did some floor exercises consisting of a one minute plank and 20 four count crunches. I also did 30 walking lunges with 8 pound weighs in each hand. This was a total of 30 minute workout. I ate for lunch a large vegetable salad consisting of romaine lettuce, green pepper, carrots, radishes, cucumber, and tomatoes. It was topped with a small boiled chicken breast and approximately 1/3 cup of mozzarella cheese and approximately 3-4 Tbsp of light vinegarette dressing. I also ate a banana and an orange for afternoon snack. Today I have finally seen almost a 2 pound loss. I was getting a little discouraged because even though I just started tracking my eating habits and workouts, I have been watching what I eat and exercising for quite some time. I was ready to resort back to smoking! I hope I see more of a loss over the next week and a half to keep me motivated.

Started off the morning with a Fruit Smoothie using frozen fruit (no sugar added) frozen yogurt, fresh banana, and Sunny D orange peach juice. For snack I ate a serving of better cheddar crackers and a 100 calorie snack pack and about 1 1/2 cups of fresh pineapple. I worked out doing a rotation of running and brisk walking on the treadmill for 15 minutes (7 1/2 minutes of running and 7 1/2 minutes of walking). Then i did some floor work with abs and back and arms. Total workout was 30 minutes. I have consumed 20 ounces of water so far and am working on another 20 ounces now. I ate a salad with approximately 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese and about 2 Tbsp. of deshelled sunflower seeds with a light vinegarette dressing along with a 100 calorie snack pack. I am not doing so well on my adventure of losing weight. So far I have gained. .4 ounces putting me at and even 153 pounds. UGH!! I feel like I have an obsession with food. It's all i think about.

Today I didn't start so well by snacking on chicken in a biscuit crackers (1 serving at 160 calories) and better cheddar crackers (1/2 a serving at 80 calories) as well as a 100 calorie snack pack. I also drank a 2 serving bottle of Snapple Asian Pear Green tea at 120 calories. I worked out for 40 minutes 18 minutes on an incline treadmill (4 minutes of jogging at a speed of 5.5 mph and 14 minutes of brisk walking at 3.8 mph. I did 20 minutes of floor exercises including crunches. For lunch I ate about a cup of homemade lentil soup, grilled chicken breast and 2 cups of mixed fresh fruit. So far I have drank 20 ounces of water and expect to drink at least 40 more ounces before the end of the day.
