Today started of on the right foot. I started my day off with a whole grapefruit each half was covered in a tsp. of sugar. I also ate 1/2 serving of Better Cheddar crackers. I worked out on the treadmill today for a total of 17 minutes running 10 minutes today at 5.5 mph and walking for 7 minutes at 4 mph. I also did two reps of 15 incline situps and 10 incline situps rotating from side to side with a medicine ball. I did some floor exercises consisting of a one minute plank and 20 four count crunches. I also did 30 walking lunges with 8 pound weighs in each hand. This was a total of 30 minute workout. I ate for lunch a large vegetable salad consisting of romaine lettuce, green pepper, carrots, radishes, cucumber, and tomatoes. It was topped with a small boiled chicken breast and approximately 1/3 cup of mozzarella cheese and approximately 3-4 Tbsp of light vinegarette dressing. I also ate a banana and an orange for afternoon snack. Today I have finally seen almost a 2 pound loss. I was getting a little discouraged because even though I just started tracking my eating habits and workouts, I have been watching what I eat and exercising for quite some time. I was ready to resort back to smoking! I hope I see more of a loss over the next week and a half to keep me motivated.
