I've entered my 40's...the kids are grown....it's time to get my weight back under control and lose a few pounds. I started this journey a couple months ago at 172lbs. For my height, this weight had me with an obese level BMI which is not healthy. I met my first goal of breaking 160 this past week and have decided to switch over to the Calorie Count Diet to reach my next goal of 150. Counting calories and watching my carbs isn't easy (I'd consider myself a carboholic), but I've slowly been trying to adapt to a 1200 per day calorie count and so far it's working for me.
