Michigan's governor issued stay-at-home as of midnight tonight.
Being a small business, my husband and I have quite a bit of worries~ mostly the unknown. We're prepared here at home and we're both healthy so that is the biggest blessing.
For the next three weeks, we look forward to all the positive things that come with having time off!
*spending quality time together
*focusing on fitness
*catch up on sleep! goal: at least 8.5 hrs every night
*spring cleaning one room at a time
*spending time in the art studio(me), music studio(hubby)
*creating new recipes
*as weather allows, spring cleanup outside
Stay safe - stay focused - reach out if you need help. Well all get through this!

Heyyyy FS fam!! I had to take a break ~ we were visiting my son in Baltimore.
I hope you all have been well – especially during this crazy time! Wow! We got back home in time for businesses and schools to be shut down and faced with empty shelves. Walking in to our own business was scary, to say the least.
I have to say I’ve really missed being here, journaling and such. I chose to keep my electronic devices at distance since I was spending quality time with family. Instead of logging in to journal, I kept paper notes (even on napkins) so I could enter the best I can. Anyway, we had such a great time catching up and seeing some family I haven’t seen in years. We were able to attend a reunion that was actually a surprise 50th birthday party for me.
So even though it was a 6 day vacation, I didn’t feel the need to be careless about my meals. This was very different for me. In fact, it was pretty monumental. In the past, I would let my hair down and do whatever I wasn’t without noooo rules. No restrictions. No counting… etc. It was pretty much a first for me to not WANT to go crazy. Don’t get me wrong, my passion for food didn’t disappear BUT my gluttonous ways are GONE. Not gonna lie, its a weird feeling. New habits are in place along with embedded choices and mindfulness and it certainly is SO empowering.
Enough rambling – there is so much to catch up on around here. It’s great to be back.
