I have to figure something out

3x now I have developed ulcers on my tongue.
Never had I had any issues accept for some 'raised taste buds' after eating foods with an obvious huge amount of salt. So, I learned to watch my sodium intake ESPECIALLY if it tastes salty - my mouth seems to be hypersensitive.

Anyway - in the past 3 months or so, there has been at least 3 bouts of 1-2 ulcers on my tongue, along with the raised taste buds.

At first, I blamed some of the holiday foods I ate. It made sense because they were just not a part of my WOE for SO long and I thought...yep.. they are the culprit.

However... I did notice that this occurs when I'm faithful to drinking Kombucha.
Other things I've added on the daily (even a couple times a day):
Lemon all day in my ice water
Lemon in herbal teas
different seasonings and spices

All of the above is acidic. I don't want to give up ANY of it!
I so enjoy the benefits of it all. My gut feels better. I have even more energy. My sleep quality is better. My bm's are better.

I just started googling some inquiries about PH balance. I know its important. If there is any advice anyone can give me, please let me know.
Since my tongue is a direct hit from the acids consumed, I don't know if balance will help?

Drink through a straw?
