I am VERY pleasantly surprised today! I went offline for nearly a week, watching what I was eating but not tracking really at all. This is the first week since mid-June, when I started this, that I didn't follow through "100%" and I (thankfully!!) still lost some weight! Lesson learned?: just because I don't always do it 100% doesn't mean I'm failing, and if I continue to be mindful I can achieve my goals. Also -- get back on track as soon as I can.. and don't forget the exercise. I am quite sure that is what contributed to the loss this week. onward and upward!!

so there doesn't seem to be a place to track activity points on here, so it seems to make sense to do it in my journal. each week i find myself trying to add, and reconcile, points from the food diary and off sheets of paper for activity points. would be much easier to keep track here... so here goes:
70 min of moderate exercise - walking on the treadmill 5 pts
15 min of intense exercise - eliptical/stair climber 3 pts
total = 8

okay...after a short hiatus, i'm back. a whirlwind of a week, topped off with some travel this weekend, made it especially difficult to track. so, i didn't. i remained mindful about what i was eating and how much, and tried to make healthy choices when eating out. hoping to get back on track starting today. just joined a gym that is less than half a mile from my home. i'm off to there now... woohoo!!
