I am a 23yr old and I just graduated in the Fall of 2009. Currently I work part-time at PetSmart while volunteering 15-20hrs a week in a lab on UT's campus. On top of that I am finishing up my last course which I couldn't finish in the Fall of 2009 because I was diagnosed with appendicitis and I was out of school for 1.5 weeks, recovering from surgery.

Being so busy makes it hard for me to eat right because the easiest and fastest choice for me is to eat fast food on the run. However, last year when my family lost both of my grandfathers and then my surgery, I have realized that my health should always be first in my busy lifestyle. My mom and brother joined weight watchers and even though I have not joined myself, I have been cooking ww recipes along with my family.

I hope to get back to the weight I was when I started college, which was 180. Due to living on campus and not having the best dining hall food my friends and I always ate out so I gained the freshman 50 plus some. However, when I moved into an apartment in 2008 and started cooking food for myself, I lost about 20lbs! I would like to keep the weight loss going and finally get back to my old self again!
