Any loss is a good loss! This week was a bit harder to stay 100% on track with 2 nights in a row of eating out & having a few drinks. Like I said before, 1 glass of wine is enough to derail my progress. I've been very successful at removing wine from the house - it's the social events that I haven't found my full will power yet.
Nevertheless! I'm still losing!

I went to a banquet with my husband last night... I had good discipline, eating only the prime rib (maybe on half of it) and starter salad with blue cheese dressing. I ate the right things, but the is NO WAY to know what was in it. But this is life, right? Navigating through community meals, pot lucks, banquets, family meals at a restaurant, fast food for days that you're running around like crazy...
It's just that when I'm tracking every bite, every carb, every calorie, it's hard not to be over critical when I can't control the exact count. Looks like yesterday was a 1600 calorie day - 300 cal higher than I want to be. Tonight I have a happy hour planned with my work team, if I skip lunch, I'll be drunk with 1 glass of wine. So maybe I'll have a good fast through Saturday? Ah, I'm just rambling. I'm starting to see real results in my clothing, my energy levels, and oh yes, my sex drive ;) I'm "hungry" for more results, I like winning!

Treated myself with a restaurant meal last night... I did amazing! Texas Roadhouse steak (with a dollop of butter on top), side salad and a handful of peanuts will keeping me ticking for many hours! Need less to say, I don't have a structured IF regime, but I hope to make it at least 18 hours until I eat again after that feast!

Yesterday was a work work work and more work kind of day. After 13 hours of sitting at my desk.. my toosh is SORE. Lately, my job has been cost estimating, so it's all in excel.. crunching numbers, formatting cells... all day. It's mind numbing, but I kinda like this kind of work. Hours pass very quickly with no temptation to snack, no desire to eat, and I'm soaking up the $$.
Today, I'm actually going to work on getting a few more calories to stay above the 1000 cal/day average. Its not really a goal to be that low, it's just how my appetite and food choices have worked out to be. The benefit is that I'm losing about 1/2 to 1/3 lbs a day. That's really high, I know that I can't sustain that rate... But for the moment, I'm okay with it :)
AND... This morning was a good morning to be me. I'm starting to see physical changes; the bath towel wraps around a little more of me, my pants are saggy in the rear, my shirt drapes a little longer (not being stretched as wide), and my skin looks healthy... In general, I'm feeling pretty today.
I've noticed that I tend not to take selfies anymore... subconsciously, I think, I'm not happy with my image. I'm excited to change that. Just maybe I'll post a picture!

Oh yeah! Loving the results! It’s been a very stressful week with LOTS of sitting. My tail hurts from all the desk work I had to do. But I’m SUPER proud of myself for sticking with my goals ALL week and controlling my desires to stress snack.
