I'm going to weigh in this time next week, and with any luck I won't have put on weight.
I'm having a rather crappy few weeks, and I've been eating poorly, and not exercising. Problem after problem just kept on comming at me, and I was doing ok until my aunty died last week.
You know when you feel so low, you're not sure if you can drag yourself back up. All you want to do is watch TV or play games and snack on crap. That's what I've been doing. Right now, I hate myself even more, and all I want to do is run and never look back, metaphorically and literally.
I'm going for a run now, and again in the morning. All I know to do to get myself out of this hole is to push myself hard, and hopefully I can find myself a girl and start to feel like life matters again.

I've been a bit busy, so I haven't been updating my food and exercise diaries lately. I don't mind so much, now that I've weighed in and lost weight. I love seeing that graph going down. I'm almost below 120kg, which is the first important milestone for me. Every 5kg, I'm trating myself to something. Not necessarily food, but a small reward for sticking with it, no matter how boring the exercise is, no matter how bad you feel while doing it, no matter ho much you wanted that chocolate so bad. I said "no" to the chocolate, and that's what counts. I like where I'm at, I'm dictating the terms to my body and my cravings now, a feeling of control I've not had in a while.

Well, that rest day was just what I needed. I went for my walk / jog yesterday, and I was able to jog a LOT more than I have been. My Calf muscles are still sore, but it's not too bad. Right now, exercise seems to be a bit of a balancing act between intensity and pain management. I'm pretty big, so my leg muscles and joints don't like "pounding the pavement" so much. I used to have a bike to prevent this, but I sold it a while back. A bike is on my list of things to buy, so hopefully soon I can alternate running and cycling to save my knees and shins.

I didn't exercise yesterday. I wanted to, but my calf muscles are still sore from the hike I went on. I thought I'd wait until this morning and see how things go, but I'm still sore this morning. I hate missing a day, but I would hate missing a week due to injury even more. Lets call this a rest day.
