It’s a new low! Yes! I’m at 171.9 today, with both of this week’s 500-calorie days successfully completed. Now comes the challenge of surfing out Thursday through Sunday without damage. I can do that. At the moment I feel like I can do anything!

Half pound down as I enter my second 500-calorie day of the week. When I planned out my goals at the end of March, I was hoping to hit 173 by today, and I have done so. Man it feels good to be on track!

There we go. Heading in the right direction again.
Handled things well today, despite a potluck at work and a heartbroken friend who needed to meet for drinks this evening. These kinds of things have derailed me before, but they will not be doing so any more. I participated in both events, but in moderation.
It’ll be another 500-calorie day tomorrow, and I’m raring to go.

Gained, but also gained an enjoyable weekend that didn't spiral out of control. When I got home from the calorific book club lunch, I simply skipped dinner and started my 16:8 window early! Today is a 500-calorie day, and I suspect I can pull off an 18-hour fast too.
So: on track, on point, and soon once again on target. Shooting for 173.4 tomorrow morning.

Yes! Another 1.5 pounds gone. I’m so pleased with the combination of 5:2 and 16:8... it really works well for me!
I’ve got book club today and that’s often a bit of a calorie extravaganza, but only if I let it! And since it’ll be my only meal of the day, it should be fine if I am cautious.
Yesterday when I got hungry I roasted some baby carrots in a spritz of olive oil and some seasoned spices, and MAN was that a delicious snack. Just a week ago I would have been going straight for the potato chips and eating half the bag. But things are changing! *I* am changing.
Feels good. :-)
