So this weekend is a bust! I so wanted to be good this weekend and I could have but I chose otherwise. We gave a surprise birthday party for my Mom and little brother and I cooked all the sidedishes. I made potato salad, dirty rice, turkey wraps, rotel chicken pasta and swedish meatballs. I taste tested everything I cooked! All of my contributions added to chicken wings and fried catfish along with fresh strawberry whipped cream cake for dessert. The healthiest item was the fruit tray and sadly I ate nothing from it! Today is Sunday and party leftovers were on the menu. Ah well... no use in crying over spilled milk! Back to the gym tomorrow for the first time since June. I'm going to have to work to get my endurance back to what it was but it comes with the territory. Hoping for a loss on the scale this week!

So I've been using this site for about 9 months to look up different foods and never once noticed that I could track my points/food online by signing up! It excites me and I think just maybe it'll give me a boost. I've been slowly easing off my bad habits and starting tomorrow I'm back on full throttle. Saturday starts a new Weight Watchers week. I have not been to a meeting in a least 6 weeks or so which is horrible but without me having to answer to the scale it aids me in eating how I want to. Well I'm back in the gym/working out starting tomorrow and back on the train of eating well. I've been overdoing it for a while now and while in Feb the scale said 156 it now says 169! I can tell the difference in the mirror and in my clothes. I'm not disgusted by it really b/c I know the plan works and I have to let it. I have not been doing that and I'm a big girl and understand that without following what helped me lost over 50lbs to start with I can't possibly be successful! Just me signing up tonight makes me rethink what I'm going to eat for dinner tonight so I feel as I did for the first time in a long time. I've also joined the lose 9lbs by 9/9/09 challenge which starts in 2 days so I'm looking forward to that. Tomorrow we are having a birthday party for my Mom and Brother and a lot of good food will be there (a lot of which I'll be cooking) so I'll have to put myself to the test. I'm a little skeptical of how I'll do but we'll see!
