Well,

Back in september of 2009 I got very sick. 3 differnet antibiotics later I still wasn't up to par and dealing with a chroic sinus issues. I went in and talked to my Dr and he said, well at 426 your body just doesnt like you anymore does it. He gave me a set of guide lines and well, it's working.

Coming from an active lifestyle it was very hard for me to accept my weight. I hold blackbelts in two different martial arts and had been studing aikido for years. Then, winter of 2004 I noticed I was up to 310lbs. I hit the gym. By summer I was back down to 260 and on my way to my goal weight of 220. I was back in aikido and working furiously. One thing I didnt do was change my eating habits. I was at best just creating a negative calorie count by how hard I was working out.

Come January of 2005. I had a slight accident involving a table saw and ended up parked on my rear for 3 months. After that I never got back into the work out thing fully. For the next year my weight slowly creaped back up to around 310 and in august of 2006 I went to hawaii.

When I got back, I never did get back into the work out and continued to eat a huge amount of food.

On March 15 I married my loverly (Yes I know I misspelled it) wife and at that time I was 380 and suffering major back issues and carpel tunnel had taken its toll on my writs. My doctor had taken me out of work until they could be fixed and so I just sat.... took pain meds and ate.

That went on and on and leads me up to September 2009. 426.4lbs... I used to run 10 miles a day.

So my goal now is lose the weight for good. Because of my weight I am not allowed to work out. In fact my Dr threatened me no working out till I get to 300. He has educated me to eat right and watch that first. When I do get into working out again, I wont just be working to over come the caloric intake. I will be working to make my body more healthy.
