Running question.....
So I'm rust starting to jog/run and I'm trying to figure the best way to improve. So today I tried going till my heart rate was 170 then walk till it dropped to 150 then repeated the process. Now I'm thirty year old male so I think my max heart rate is 180 now.
Should I be running like this to improve? My main goal is to loose weight (fat).

So I've noticed that it's getting harder for me to wake up and do my rutine in the morning. I think I've lost my steam because a girl I liked and told so told me that she just wanted to be friends. I think the high from her gave me an edge that I fear will be hard to get back.
For the past few days I've missed my stretching cause I didn't wake up early enough. I've still have not smoked which I feel great about and see changes in my body which I LOVE! I want it to continue!

So I've been using the iPad app to keep track of my food intake and exercise. I have to say that is fun to track the progress. The hardest part I think is wanted to see changes faster and faster. I guess that's a product of today's society. I just have to keep reminding myself that it took years to put in on and relatively I'm taking it 100 times faster.
I would like to start interacting with this community more as well.
