Ok, I just joined this group today and I think it'll really help me to finally reach my goal. My big problem is drinking the amount of water that I'm supposed to. I don't drink unless I'm eating so just drinking a glass of water during the day just doesn't happen. But that has been something that I'm working on. Something else that I struggle with is getting the recommended amount of fruits and veggies. I'm not doing so well, though I am doing better than I used to. In the past I'd do good to eat one fruit or veggie a day. I'm trying to try different fruits and veggies so that I can have some variety. I tried squash the other. YUCK!!! That's not gonna happen...lol. My biggest weakness is Dr. Pepper. If I let myself, I can drink 2-3 a day. I actually went a whole 31 days without a pop, but then went right back. :P But, I haven't had one at all this week, so I'm happy about that. I used to get the caffeine headaches when I tried to stop drinking them but I find if I drink a cup of green tea instead then the headaches don't happen. Plus, green tea is good for my metabolism and if I add enough splenda, it actually tastes quite good, the mixed berry kind anyway. I've been working on my new healthy way of living for 4 days now and I feel really good. I've just got to keep it up and remember that God will give me the strength I need to take care of His temple.
