Gallbladder removal problems
I had my gallbladder removed 6 months ago.Was assured by surgeon I would not gain weight without it but that was a lie

Have gained weight and still gaining which is hurting an old back injury.Got loads of slimming books but nothing makes a dent in it.

Husband can be very acidic about my weight and trying so hard.

Joined here today to see what calories I am eating.

For some unknown reason the details here have thingas like just got 195 pounds to lose when I weigh 155 pounds?

Cant find my way back into details as something needs putting right. Also has me down for 2,500 cals per day.No way can that be right when I need to lose at least 22 pounds and hopefully more.Put my query into contacts here and waiting for help.

If anyone has overcome this type of weight gain would love to hear

Oatmeal sure spiked my blood sugar!
New here today but just looking round.Been cooking for husbands type 2 for 9 years.Trial & error but porridge has a low G.I. but is still a carb.In my experience find adding something like a fibre as in apples slows it but otherwise some form of fat (like virgin coconut oil, just a little) or some form of protein other than meats.Found Rick Gallop a wealth of info with book & online.Everyone is different, bodies have their own traits but for my husband he can have carbs but its adding something to the mix that keeps the numbers low.Take care

edit details
Hello, sent email but not sure how long before someone can help at the office there?

Joined today, set details then realised I was a inch shorter than I thought so tried to go back in and reset. It was whilst trying to get back I found I have been put at 2500 cals per day and need to lose just 40 pounds but it has me at needing to lose 198 pounds.I would just fade away on that loss?

Can anyone tell me how to get back to registration page for initial weight, height etc and make sure it is set right

Thanks cos I am putting in my meals and dont know how many cals I have left for the day on these incorrect figures
