Abnormal and long hours
I hope I found the right forum for this...

Something I want to consider more that I'm trying to maintain: Those of you who work abnormal and long hours, how do you handle it? Frequently on my job I get stuck working 16 hour days, having to return 8 hours later. In other words, my normal day is 3pm-11pm, but frequently I have to work 3pm until 7am the next morning. Then I have to be at work again at 3pm that day.

So, by the time I get home and all, I usually don't sleep. I'm up for 36-48 hours at a time or more. So obviously using the calorie target set for those days isn't going to cut.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how much more they would consume in such cases? It seems like I often don't eat enough, thought I'd see if anyone out there had any ideas.

Finally after a good year and a half of discipline and work....
Well done Hyperion! I agree, sticking with it is the best one can do. I started from a similar size and reached my goal some time back, and I can bet you feel great about it.

Now go do some stuff to enjoy with that body you couldn't do before!

Hello Everyone!
Hi everyone.

I'm Anthony. I'm new here but not new to the whole loss thing.

I'm currently maintaining, as I have been for the part eighteen months or so, and I plan on using the app to continue tracking as I do.

I started in November of 2013 at around 270-280lbs, currently at 160-165lbs where I've been the last while.

I'm coming here from another site as I've gotten tired of the buggy-ness of that other (unnamed) app. I had actually joined fatsecret over a year ago but for some reason never really used it. It's a bit of a curve for sure, took me quite a while longer to enter my first meal.

I hope this works out better, and hope one I get the hang of things to be active in the community.
