I'm baaack!! Despite eating "bad" foods which were very delicious in Vegas, I managed to lose a few pounds! I guess it was all that walking through casinos and outlet shopping mall.
Had a fabulous time, laughed a lot at Spamalot and Barry Manilow's "Music & Passion" concert was wonderful. He sings with so much passion, I actually cried. Was a big Monty Python fan in High School, so loved Spamalot ALOT!
I managed to win $42.00 (I only play penny slots) which paid for a pair of high heeled sandals and a top at the Las Vegas Premiun Outlet Shopping Mall (Bass).
I ate lobster omelet, salads, buffet at Golden Nugget, even ate one slice Hawaiian pizza and a hotdog so I was surprised to have lost weight!

Goin' to Vegas Baby!!! Yup, I'm off to see Spamalot and Barry Manilow with my best friend since grammar school for 4 days in the summer heat!!! Wish me luck at the slots and buffet tables!!! I'll try to keep to the diet, been doing pretty good so far, but we'll see if temptation overrules all my hard work... I don't think so, but man, some of that food is just too good to pass up! Aaacckkk! Oh well, I'll weigh in when I get back to see how much damage is done.

I've been stuck at 168 for the past few days. Not sure why. I've been sticking pretty closely to the diet. Hubby made whole wheat pancakes for breakfast, I only ate one. It was pretty good.
We're in Phase 2 now even though I didn't lose much weight. I think because I haven't been exercising enough. Maybe eating some starch will kick us back into losing weight if we go like this for a few days and go back to Phase 1 after that. We'll see.
I tried posting my weight a few days ago and the darn thing didn't work. Hope it works today.

Uh-oh, I cheated a little bit, had a tiny bit of mac n cheese last night. Otherwise, I've been really good. I didn't exercise this week, so I can see why I've gained weight. Back on track starting this weekend...

Two more lbs. down! Went to OC Fair on Thursday and walked my butt off, ate very well, steamed artichoke, corn on the cob, pulled pork (w/o bun) and broated chicken leg.
My energy level is way up, only took about 1/2 day to recuperate afterwards -- used to take me 3-4 days to recuperate from any activity. I'm so happy to be able to do stuff again!
Will be going up north (nor Cal) to visit inlaws end of this week, hope to stay on Phase 1 a little longer to see if I can drop more weight. We're celebrating hubby's bday, so maybe a teensy bite of chocolate cake but that's it. I promise!!
Hubby has been very supportive of the diet, he even barbqued chicken last night for dinner! He's lost 5 lbs finally and his tummy is going down. He says his pants are loser, needs a new belt, he's on the last notch!
Things are going great, hope everyone is doing well!
