I am a 47 year old female with 2 x 22 year old children. I have a very, very, very sweet tooth and think nothing of eating cakes, chocolate etc and not just one or 2 - lots & lots.

After steadily loosing 2 stone during the past 2 years, I must admit not through trying, but illness, noticed I was putting weight back on. I had gotten used to wearing size 14 clothes and did not want to go back up. I have found using this website is really helping me to stick to the calorie intake I need to not only stop putting weight on, but to loose it. It is keeping me focused with my food and also household activities. Its like having a little conscious sat on my shoulder saying "do you really need to eat that" or "are you really hungry or just thirsty and need a glass of water or squash". Its just what I need.

I struggle with exercise and following routines due to chronic health conditions including Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis, IBS and Asthma. An interesting cocktail of 28 different meds a day help, but I swing from good and bad days. I am fortunate my daughter is still at home as she is able to help me, loves cooking & eats so healthily if she did not look the image of me & would worry she was swapped at birth! My main exercise comes in the form of housework which I do with regular breaks, but I am impressed with just how many calories can be burnt with loading the dishwasher. It explains why I sometimes have to lie down after doing it!
