I'm a 52-year-old computer programmer from Boise, Idaho. I've been married to my best friend for 30 years. We have three wonderful children (2 still at home), 3 cats, and a dog.

I'm a Red Sox fan, collect vinyl LPs, and love, love, love(!) coffee.

Looking to lose fat rather than just weight. High protein, low fat, low carb. Planned "free" meals and breaks from the rather stringent diet. I have goals set to raise caloric levels and increase food choices including moderate amounts of carbs once certain parameters have been met.

I have completed phase one of this plan once before (lost 116 lbs) but never moved on to the planned maintenance phase and have since regained all of the weight. A lot of planning and research have gone into this - ready to be my best self in all phases of life!
