BAAAADDDDD WEEKEND!!! Went camping with friends and family for my birthday. Indulged in a Burger AND a hotdog on Sat, then followed up with Fajitas on Sunday, as well as about 10 of my favorite cookies over the course of 3 days. Ended it with Olive Garden pasta last night. SOOooooo, needless to say, I feel as if I am back at square one. Since it was my birthday, I consider this my New year REsolution. My goals:
Drink no less than 200 ounces of water a day.
Eat Carbs mainly in the mornings, none at dinner.
No snacking after dinner, other than fruit or vegetable.
Bump up excersise to 5 times a week instead of just 3.
Journl my food on the weekends too. I am really bad at this one now.

I have been going to the gym 3 days a week, for 4 weeks now. I do 40 minutes of strength training, then 20-25 minutes treadmill at about 3.5 miles per hour. I am recording everything I eat and staying around 1600 calories a day. I have not lost much over 2 pounds and am really frustrated. I think I am going to attempt the south beach diet. This will be pretty tough for me because I like to eat carbs,and the first two weeks of cleansing are no carbs, or fruit. My birthday is this Sunday. This will be my new year resolution. I do Resolutions on by birthday because it's my new year. I vow to lose 50# by next April. That will put me at 10# from my first goal of 200#. I can't remember last time I was 200#'s. I want to be able to ride the roller coaster with my son, and now, I can not. I love doing the strength training, but hate the treadmill. SO that is where I am going to foucs for this week. I will bypass the weight training until I lose at least 10 pounds. That way I won't get so discouraged when I look at the scale and it isnt moving. I am balming it on building muscle......probaby not the case though.
