I am in my 30s and have always had minor weight issues. I've been able to maintain a 20lb overweight body for years until my baby. My son caused a thyroid issue which booted my slightly overweight frame and kicked me into fully overweight territory. I am now struggling to find the new balance of food and exercise that my new body requires to get back to a healthy weight. I am not interested in skinny dresses or beach body thinness. I am concerned for my health and longevity for my son. My energy to do activities with him. And my happiness without constantly thinking about my body and what I look like to others. Physical and mental health is my goal. The stakes are higher than ever.
