Hello everyone, I am back (for good this time) and tracking my points and calories. Goodness, when you don't log everything you eat, you can gain the weight and old habits back quickly. I have been working so many late evenings, that I have not found the time to workout after work. We had to join a new gym because many of the Bally's we were attending closed due to the club being unable to reach an agreement with the landlords of the buildings they were in. So we joined the YMCA, which is a lot better for our family. My boys play sports so they are at least able to get in the gym and workout to be prepared for the fall.

I'll weigh myself tonight (kind of scared to) and see how much I have gained and we will begin this journey over again and in earnest. I was losing the weight with the support group on here so I am back and here to stay.

How funny it is that we can begin to feel sorry for ourselves when we hit a snag or mountain in our lives. I have been so busy that I have not carved out time to workout and I have not been eating as well as I should have. It was brought to my attention in a not so pleasant way by my husband. I was telling him that my best friend has lost 60lbs since we started on this journey and she is almost down to my size. He was like "no offense, but is she so successful because she is more disciplined than you?" I had to admit that yes, she is. She eats right and very rarely uses her flex points. Even when she didn't feel like exercising, she dragged her butt to the gym anyway. I haven't been in over a month! I have done some yoga but not a good workout. I will admit that I have one excuse, I did pull a muscle the last time I worked out and I had some medical scares but when I was better, I should have been back in the gym.

I am proud to say, that I am back to tracking what I eat (as of yesterday - trying to start the week out right) and will be hitting the gym tonight! I haven't weighed myself, so I'll do that tonight and post my weigh in.

Due to me not working out, I noticed that I am lethargic in the mornings and my energy levels are drastically low. So it is true that working out does help you feel better.
